Enna Fretz
President
Hello everyone! My name is Enna Fretz and I am a Junior Marketing Major in the Broad College of Business and Honors College at MSU. I had the pleasure of serving on the Executive Board last year as Director of Membership, and I am thrilled to serve as President for the 2024-25 academic year.
I joined MSUMA as a freshman and immediately felt at home. Through professional development trips, socials, and philanthropy events, I developed connections and skills that benefited me far beyond the classroom and gained experiences no curriculum could provide. This organization transformed my college experience, and I couldn’t be more proud to work alongside such talented E-board members to provide that same experience for MSUMA Members this year. I highly encourage anyone interested in marketing and business, creating friendships, and navigating the corporate world to join MSUMA, as we can provide that necessary next step towards your personal and professional success.
I am so excited to connect with our members this year and provide them with the amazing resources and opportunities that make college so special. I love meeting new people and cannot wait to spend another great year with MSUMA- so reach out to me anytime, and Go Green!

Shelly Chen
Director of Marketing
Hi! I'm Shelly Chen, currently a junior majoring in Marketing. This marks my third year with MSUMA, and I'm excited to serve as the director of marketing for the 2024-2025 school year!
My journey with MSUMA began unexpectedly during my second semester at MSU. Honestly, I didn’t know much about this organization until I started attending weekly meetings. As a freshman, I was anxious about finding the right major. MSUMA was my first step in the door. I learned so much about the industry and the major just by sitting in general meetings and making friends who shared their campus involvement.
This school year, I am extremely excited to take on this role and apply my knowledge in real-time. Additionally, I am excited to learn from this leadership team, who are extremely amazing, fun, and professional.
Within the MSUMA community, you will find friends, mentors, and connections that will enhance your college and professional career. It is never too late to sign up! I can’t wait to meet everyone. Feel free to reach out anytime; I am always down to chat and connect :)
